This 8-Week challenge features STRONG Nation, an interval training program customized especially for those who:
- Are in their 40s, 50s, and up
- Are NEW to exercise
- Are RETURNING to exercise after a long or short break
- Have COMPLETED post-injury physical therapy yet are unsure what to do next
As a Certified Personal Trainer & Functional Aging Specialist with expertise in corrective exercise, functional movement, balance training, and more – and more than 12 years’ experience working in these areas – I will customize movements to suit YOUR needs.

Above is the daily schedule for your *live* Zoom sessions for the upcoming Winter Fitness Challenge.
On-Demand classes will be recorded and available to you 24/7, so even if your schedule does not match ours, you can still participate!
The first 4 weeks you will have 2 sessions of STRONG interval training. You may notice a third session is added during Weeks 5-8 (Saturday mornings).
As you get stronger and more fit during the first 4 weeks, you may want to add that 3rd session into your weekly schedule. This is optional, but recommended for those wanting to kick up their fitness in the second half of the challenge.
The Stretch & Flow and Active Recovery classes are also optional but highly recommended for all participants.
Stretch & Flow is yoga-inspired movement designed to improve flexibility, balance, and mobility. It also provides stress release through its mind-body awareness focus.
Active Recovery aids with minimizing post-workout muscle soreness and improving range of motion around joints through myofascial release (aka "foam rolling") and stretching. You will learn how to "roll" major muscle groups and come to understand the benefits of rolling. **NOTE** You will get the most out of this session with the proper tools. You may already have some or all of these:
- Foam roller, any length/firmness
- Tennis or lacrosse ball
- Golf ball
- Muscle rolling stick or rolling pin (yes, the one in your kitchen!)
